People are moving from all over the country, but residents in northern states such as New Yok, New Jersey and Connecticut are the most noted in packing up their lives and leaving their families for a life In Florida.

Many Northerners are tired of the cold and snow. The routine to keep warm with all those layers, defrosting your windshield and shoveling snow is tiresome task. Trading in snow for tropical weather is appealing to many.

The comparison between housing prices is huge and Florida typically allows homeowners to have more space. People want to have larger kitchens, home offices and private above ground pools.

Residents up north pay a high state tax. Florida residents pay no state income tax. The savings in taxes is a big win.
